Ironically if you read acounts of the "Moplah Rebellion " in 1921 you'd see identical accounts as described above except for usage of guns which was scarce . In this Israel- Hamas fight; the Israeli Tavor rifle proved its mettle. The old Israeli copy of AK-47, the Galil rifle was hardly used. Even the Israeli Army found this rifle too pricey and cumbersome to manufacture.
