Biden and Blinken calling for a halt just when IDF is entering Gaza City shows the perils of depending on the US. Israel finds itself in a situation where they are damned if they do and damned if they don't! Whatever US says, i hope Israel will turn the north Gaza into a cauldron and eliminate every jihadi scum before moving into south.

Biden is under pressure from Muslim Americans in general and Arab Americans in particular. Lots of them now threatening not to vote for him, some may have influence in swing states (though if the alternative is Trump, that's pretty much suicide for Muslim Americans). The idea is to scare the democratic establishment, even if Trump wins as a result. The only problem- Jewish Americans. They outnumber Muslims 2:1 in the US.

Yes I happened to read his posts, They were certainly gloating. Among What I found disgusting is? Pakistan Members accusing us of bootlicking Israel and US. When Pakistanis themselves disposed an elected PM Just to get some IMF Loan. Our DFI Members were correct, They predicted that once Pakistan gets IMF Loans, and food situation stabilizes temporarily, They will go back to their old ways of planning and cheering for Jihadist attacks.

You don't need to apologize for your posts nor should you be made to feel as if you need to. Whether it is your opinion or an article from a link. Even if it was a propaganda piece. There will be some embellishments and excuses for murderous behaviour but some things in the article rings true. No one in their wildest imagination could have imagined Hamas would be as successful or that the Israelis would be caught so woefully off-guard. It doesn't excuse Hamas's actions or their absolutely atrocious murders but it may explain why they thought they could get away with it. Some Israeli retaliation was always going to happen but Israel now has little option but to try and wipe out Hamas. There is a thing as being too successful....

public posturing is not necessarily the same as what is being conveyed in the background to govt of Israel. it’s their vote bank(a faction) that is publicly against Israel, they had to say something.

Israel too has deployed a large team of spokespersons to U.S and other countries, to put across their point of view

if we look at what they done on ground for Israel, they brought in carrier groups, technical advisors, ammo supplies and going around the world lobbying on behalf of Israel so that battleground does not expand to rest of Middle East.

if anything, these whole sequence of events have been a masterclass in wartime diplomacy. War is not just about jumping in head first, there are a lot of moving non-military pieces that have to be taken care of before the battle even begins.

I have noticed a trend, Correct me If I am Wrong, Whenever Muslims are evicted from a particular place in a conflict, Fellow Muslims from all over the world start protesting. Examples are Rohingya's in Myanmar and Palestinians in Gaza. For me it seems they feel loss of land is a defeat for them. To Avoid defeat or prevent their co-religionists from defeated, protests are being carried out.

Very Important thing is each one of them know the role that they need to play in a conflict? Since Now Israel is fighting Western Nations Political leaders are ready to face pressure from Islamists and still support Israel because of Jewish Lobby Influence in Technology, Banking Sectors. I wonder whether any other nation can do what Israel has ever done. After Easter Bombing Srilanka Government Took certain aggressive actions, Immediately concerns were raised from Western Governments.

There should be a total siege of Gaza just like Russians did in Battle of Stalingrad against German 6th Army. Hamas has carried out their part in conflict. Co-religionists are doing their part in conflict by demanding ceasefire. People who were cheering and gloating on October 7 2023 are suddenly demanding ceasefire. Based on the conflict, I believe Israel High Command is divided. While some Commanders want total destruction of Gaza. Netanyahu is more amicable to US concerns and advice. This is my assessment. May be Netanyahu is playing long game of capturing more Palestinian area in Gaza also and establish Jewish settlements also. I am not sure.

No Islamist has bothered to answer this question, At least few Leftist Intellectuals tried to sugar coat the actions of Hamas under revolutionary cover?
