For the Congress to make sense at the national level they need to be out of power for another 2 decades. That way the present degenerate generation dies out . Hopefully the ones succeeding them would be relatively honest with a coherent ideology & sound policies instead of rank populism.

The present ones have no ideological moorings except to get into power at any cost . The Gandhis are a burden on the Congress yet they are the only cementing factor keeping the unit togather. For how long remains to be seen ? I've a feeling if one satrap gathers enough courage & clout to form his own independent outfit , that'd be the beginning of the end of both the Congress & the Gandhis. Perhaps the 2024 elections would precipitate such an event if the BJP returns to power .

As far as PVNR is concerned on the one hand he's demonised by the ultra secular brigade of the Congress & lionised by the Sangh supporters as someone who facilitated the demolition of the Babri structure. Yet his Govt also passed the places of worship act & the Waqf act whose complete ramifications are something people are discovering only now . So who was the true PVNR ?

They have no ideology, all secularism, left liberal socialist drama they do is only a figleaf, their real objective is to loot and abuse power once they acquire it.
To this end they use caste politeeks, gibs-me-dats and appeasing muslims.

There is a reason they don't have "cadre" like BJP/RSS or Commies have.

This conflict must be taking a heavy toll on Egypt's finances at the worst possible time with bankruptcy looming- tourist bookings during what is peak season must have nose dived. I just noticed hotel prices in Sharm El Sheikh over the Xmas/New Year period have dropped 60% just in the past 3 weeks when they should all be sold out for months in advance normally.
