Starting Lebanon 1982 is not a problem. But if they decide to do the same pussyfooting and vacillating after the commencement of the operation, like they did in 1982 under Begin, then it's pretty much a waste of time.

Can they wipe out Hamas and put the Arabs in their place once and for all? Of course they can. Will they? No. Netanyahu doesn't have the balls, no Israeli politician does for that matter. I visited Israel in 2015 and even back then there were a lot of people of Indian heritage working in the service industry. I believe the country has since seen a much bigger influx of Asian workers into low paid roles involving working outdoors so it's conceivable many who would have been outside at the time of the initial incursion may have been migrants. Also, I recall driving through Ashdod, Sderot etc on the way back to Tel Aviv from Eilat and being surprised at how vulnerable they were, with shopping centres and housing situated in close proximity to the Gaza boundary wall. That said , it was a lovely country where I experienced a lot of warmth and friendliness on account of being Indian (this was in the first few years of Modi's rise to power so the Modi-Bibi vibe was very strong). Shame it's situated next door to a Jihadi madhouse and I pray the state and people of Israel soon find their own ' final solution' to the Muslim problem once and for all.

If they were than they would have resisted it in a much better than what we can see right now because for these types military operation, military build ups start taking place, soldiers are usually trained for the objectives and they are on alert , environment when a military operation which is going to take place is literally something different military starts doing some exercise near the order for preparedness

Population is not that high near border area's of Rajasthan and Gujrat. Terrain is not easy in Kashmir so only possibilities in Punjab but that is also not that easy considering heavy Army and BSF presence.
