At least seven Nepali students studying at an Israel University have sustained injuries and are held captive by Hamas forces, Nepal's Ambassador to Israel confirmed.

Nepal's Ambassador to Israel Kanta Rijal said seven Nepali students in Harzliya under the "Learn and Earn" program of the Israeli government have been injured in an ongoing situation.

"They have been held in captivity by Hamas forces along with an additional 10 Nepali students at the agricultural farm in Southern Israel's Alumim," Rijal told ANI.

According to Nepal's envoy, Israel's Foreign Ministry and rescue teams have been informed about the situation and the students have been alerted over the issue.

Kanta Rijal said, "They (Nepali) are in the hostel and shielding themselves. The area is inaccessible because of intense fighting."

Nepal's Foreign Ministry in Kathmandu has not yet responded to the ongoing situation in Israel.

At least 40 people have been killed since the Hamas terror group began its attacks, according to the Magen David Adom emergency service.

I very much doubt Israel would attack its own citizens. This has a lot of Iranian hand behind it as Israel joining Saudi chummah must have made them very insecure. No way Hamas did it on their own.

The sheer scale of these attacks along with the civilians being killed and kidnapped in Israel proper, logically points to an Israeli response far beyond what they've done in Gaza previously, over far smaller provocations. There is no certainty on what Israel is going to do, perhaps within the IDF itself right now, but logically it's something unprecedented, even compared to Lebanon 1982.

The last time they went into Gaza and killed 2400 of them as "collateral damage" was when a mere 3 IDF soldiers were kidnapped and killed. Now you have entire villages in Israel being slaughtered by the family unit. Dozens of women already taken back to Gaza, and paraded naked.

Whether or not HAMAS can be "wiped out" is another question.

US economy is already in troubles. If they have to help Israel then they have to dump Ukraine. So if US gets involved in this then Ukraine chapter will be finished in less then 3 months.

I’m in the US now and every weekend I visit a gurdwara that has a huge “Khalistan is Sikh homeland” banner in the langar hall.

Even then, beyond a few old looneys running the gurdwara, no one cares about this Khalistan issue and I have never heard someone mention/speak about it in all of my years here, forget hate speech (even during the height of farmers protest).

Sikh community globally is not perfect (just like Hindus) and most of them have infected by a unique version of “wokeness” which preaches all religion and people are good - but by far, majority of Sikhs are neither Khalistani nor Islam lovers.

This “every Sikh is dreaming about Khalistan” comes from either out of touch goraland Sikhs or some online twitter hindutva circle jerk member.
