This is actually the worst type of war any military can fight-a guerilla war. How US would handle it depends upon the limits of USA's patience.Yeah just like Afghanistan and Taliban were evaporated. Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis etc are not an enemy state. It is like a cancer where the smallest and largest fighting units are radicalised human beings combined with cheap and flexible weapons like Rockets, Guns ,Booby traps, Civilians and babies. The uber expenses PGMs, cruise missiles, F-35, F-22s, F-18, EA-18s are not designed to take out this cancer and these toys will fail miserably to achieve the end-goal if that is to exterminate Hamaz and take back Gaza.
Either nuke the place so that radiation takes care of it(0% chance of that happening) or do a ground invasion - door to door clearing this cancer simultaneously blocking the influx of further tangos and supply from other end. The infantry have to go in and win this war. It will be a bloody one. 2 or 20 CBGs will not make any difference on the ground.
As I said, kids in this forum needs to understand that actual war is not your Call of Duty video game
