Israel entire survival mechanism in a region surrounded by countries who want to destroy them was based on a strong US always supporting them.

Today’s US is neither strong nor are the democrats willing to provide strong support to Israel’s survival - putting aside religious/historical sentiments, I personally think it would best interest for the Jews to evacuate that cursed region of the world and let the Jihadis rot the area back to 7th century.

Strength yes, ruthlessness not so much. US actually tries pretty hard to respect human rights and PC these days. Esp Democrats.

The whole concept of human rights has been heavily beneficial to weaker states fighting off an invading force (whether the invasion is justified or not). It heavily limited Russia’s ability to finish Ukraine quickly and the US’s ability to wipe out the Taliban for good. And it’s been a pain in Israel’s ass the past couple of decades.

Internally US is extremely fractured from a political stand, their military/police has been soften and demoralized, the entire mood of the nation now is to be politically correct.

If 9/11 attacks had happen in 2023, you would have seen a very different internal response from US.
