It's not arrogance, it is a reminder to Putin to stay away from the Hamas-Israel war.

You see, Israel and Russia have a love-hate relationship that goes back decades mainly due to a large section of Israeli citizens being of Russian and Ukrainian origins. When Israelis were targeting hostile elements of the Syrian Army and Hezbollah fighters deep in Syria, they had an understanding with the Russians that the latter would ignore their air strikes.

There was a time when Russia was about to sell S-400 missiles to Iran and hand over a few regiments to the Syrian military. But Israel deftly lobbied against it, while maintaining a fairly neutral position over the Ukraine war.

So both sides have kept under-the-table arrangements ready. This Likud Party guy is simply reiterating it in public. Now whether Russia has backed Hamas or not, the meeting between Hamas leadership in Russia and senior Russian officials was not a bright idea. This was an open terrorist attack for the world to see; while Russia condemned terrorism, it was very muted.

Brother Russia (after being butchered for years by Islamist in Dagestan and Chechnya) has decided to a very pro-Islamist stand these days - just to irk the West.

The same hypocrisy is played out by China - I wonder if we will ever see a day where India supports Islamist in other countries as a method to destroy a nation. Seems to be a winning proposition.

You are right in the point. If you know that, If I know that, how could Israel ignore the situation on the ground and the state of mind of the international community when it comes to American diktats.

Why didn't Israel accept the resolution proposed by Brazil? There was nothing hostile to Israel in that resolution. Why did they ask the US to veto it because the Brazilian proposal had obtained a majority of votes in the Security Council, unlike the Russian proposal?
And to finish it, the American rhetoric justifying their veto was unbelievably arrogant.

All monotheistic religions hate each other, and all other religions, by default.

Understand that when you are a monotheist, when you believe there is only one God, then that means that all other gods are false. Salvation is possible only through your own God.

Therefore, in order to save people's souls, it is your duty to convert them to monotheism. And not just monotheism, but your own brand of monotheism, because it worships the only correct God.

All other religions are false, and have to be eradicated.

Thing is, monotheistic religions particularly hate each other. Because whereas other types of believers can be excused as simply "deluded fools who have not seen light", another monotheistic religion is a direct challenge, because it too puts forward the claim of having the universal truth.

And how do you spread the universal truth to people who already believe they have it? Answer is: you don't. You have to force them or kill them.

This is also why progressivism is so aggressive, insane and everything. It is fundamentally a monotheistic religion, merely one with no God. Instead, progressives worship the concept of progress and Karl Marx, its prophet. Nazism is the same, it is just that Adolf Hitler was a chosen prophet of Nazism.

That being said, Europeans did have good reasons for hating Jews - even if many of these were self-inflicted to begin with.
