If the US gathers enough intelligence to suggest that Kim the Third wants to blow up Americistan for real, they will very likely go forward with a preemptive strike. If it goes unnoticed like in the recent case with Israel-Hamas, then there's nothing to be done. The US will lose a city/cities and wipe out North Korea anyway.

if the west had not supported ukraine with everything from money, their latest and best weapons in huge quantities, training, and putting on sanctions and other measures against Russia, then the political capital the west had expended till now in this Ukraine war support would not have been expended to the extent it has. I predicted this and whoever is doing the grand strategy in the Western globalist order should also have seen this coming.

THE THING IS THE MORE THE WEST SUPPORTS UKRAINE WITH MATERIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT, THE GREATER IT MAKES RUSSIA'S EVENTUAL GRINDING VICTORY AGAINST UKRAINE ADN ALL THE WEST WOULD HAVE FOR IT IS A MOTH-EATEN DEPLETED UKRAINE AND THEY WOULD HAVE A SEMI-STALIN LIKE FIGURE IN PUTIN WHERE PEOPLE WILL LOOK AT HIM AS A LEADER WHO PERSEVERED AND PREVAILED OVER SANCTIONS AND GOT BACK THE DONETSK AND LUHANSK, CRIMEA REGION WHICH INCLUDES THE PORT INFRASTRUCTURE.

Remember Russia is only using 1/5th of it's military potential in all this, it needs the other parts to man the other areas where NATO is also present.

If the West had given post-2014 maiden levels of covert support only along with general condemnation like the armenia-azerbaijan conflict, then they would not have expended a lot of political capital and been in the difficult situation they are right now where they are looking for a face-saver (probably why they are loving the Hamas Israel conflict now) where they don't lose 20 percent of the good and strategic landmass of a large European country like Ukraine to Russia IN SPITE OF THE MASSIVE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF SUPPORT.

Alternatively, they could have just tried to court Ukraine in an alternate reality after a russian invasion had taken some land to eventually sign a peace agreement and then station their troops covertly to protect strategic areas on the western side to prevent a total Russian takeover (like in maidan protest) and then overtly after the peace agreement and incorporate Ukraine into EU and NATO making sure to keep the Odesa port under Ukrainian control. This time they would not be seen as supporting ukraine from the start and they could have washed their hands of it saying that Ukraine was technically not part of NATO before and justified the further addition to NATO now. Also then discuss with border European nations to form a barricade and then rearm them heavily.

Now they have sunk a lot of political capital for less than good gains

also now the decisive period for the Ukrainian military is gone. they have lost a lot of their best units, weapons and trained soldiers who were motivated ideologically. In terms of total manpower they can potentially deploy they are in a worse of situation than before. even if they get ATACMS and tactical and strategic systems that are limited to Western high tech units, they would have a limited strategic impact on the ground as they are now facing an equal or increasing greater number of Russian troops which was not the case at the start of the war , especially the first year. the casualties in terms of the dead and the permanent and temporary wounded have reduced their offensive potential.

No offensive potential - means no taking back of land from Russia and Russia holds onto some of this very strategic Ukrainian land. They may now lose more men and land if Russia plays its cards right.

Also russia has theoretically gained millions of free citizens, much more than they lost while ukrainians have lost citizens from the captured lands and many from migration, while many motivated troops have died on the battlefield. The more this war lasts, the worse of ukraine is.

I agree but either way anybody who goes to war it will be an end for the Government/country/economy
and many civilians for a long time. How many enemies can one nation have before it impacts the

Unless they are going to divert a significant chunk of their ammunition into it, I doubt they would achieve much. Aircraft carriers can take a hell lot more punishment than people give it credit for. Still, if they manage to sink a carrier, it would be a glorious achievement albeit they wouldn't have much time to celebrate.
