Israel Army inspite of all those Macho statements.. is not Gung ho about an infantry operation in Gaza.. it looks like.. unless Israel goes into Gaza.. I shall assume that Israel is frightened of the prospective military casualties.. Uncle Sam will give them cover.. but only Israel has to summon the balls..

Ideally specking i would not advise to counter attack immediately. now everything is so hot that all eyes are on GAZA. If you really want to take revenge , they should stop ground invasion and speck to Hammas for release of hostages. It the situation go normal and then pick their target , then it dose not matter if it is in oman or Iran.What has happened that they had pit down their guard and somebody ditched them inside.

They should be prepeared but not this time invade Wait for right opportunity.

If you want global progress on the ground and specifically a ground operation by Tsahal, this hostage situation needs to be sorted out first. It appears that Humus ask for food and medicine to release non Israel hostages and the release of palestinian prisoners in Israel to release israel hostages.
Bibi's situation is not enviable and his political career (both local and international) ends after that crisis. Lost for lost, why not save the hostages and then MegaFuck the goat fuckers ;-) by giving carte blanche to Tsahal if he wants bloodbath on both sides, under the reservation that there is an agreement between all the stakeholders in the Region to not Regionalize the conflict.

It looks like that after a lot of Ho-Ho, the Israeli march into Gaza is stalled. My guess is that Israelis are scarred of ambush in a massively built, urbanized Gaza which is 40X10km strip. The tunnels deep underneath make any attack next to very difficult. Exact location of entrance and exit of the tunnels is unknown. These are 30 to 50 feet underground. Before walking into the unknown, Israelis have to figure out what is doable and what is not. Blind march could lead into huge casualties and another victory for Hamas.

‘’All the residents have not left Gaza where tunnels are located. These are deep in urban areas where penetrating bunker buster bombs will result in huge civilian casualties. That is not good for an attacking force. In addition nobody knows where the hostages are?

No sir, the outside force of US is not helping one bit. They are also afraid of bad image if too many civil causalities result. In addition some hostages will die. Hence, no way out of this tricky situation.

If HAMAS is not beaten into non existence, then it will be victory for them. There operation was masterly planned.

You might be correct on many points but hamas knows its short lived victory. IDF will find out ways to identify the tunnels deep under ground and will bomb them burring all them inside.
