Still can't get over how colosally Israeli intelligence fucked up for such a terrorist attack to happen, and how coherent their response has been in the aftermath. Can't imagine what'll happen if, God forbid, someday hundreds of jehadis ran amuck in India and killed, imprisoned and maimed thousands of Indians. Our government would be hauled over coals, with some even suggesting that the entire thing was orchestrated by the government itself. In essence, what's stood out the most to me through this entire ordeal is not some hitech Israeli military equipment or the demonstration of Jewish global influence, it's the stoicism and coherence of Israeli society. But I guess that's a perk of having a relatively homogeneous population, most of whom have had some military training.

Perhaps the one of reasons global Jewry is able to garner the kind of western support it does for the Israeli cause is the coherence of Israeli society. It sure does give the impression of being a winning horse from an outsider's perspective. Just a thought.
