IMO if Israeli fails, India will be next or one of the many possible targets for islamists

Israeli winning will set the deterrence for rest of the world against islamists atleast for a long enough time

And set the convenient example for massive retaliation if attack do happen by islamists

It's just gonna be a circle of violence. Invading Gaza will be the same mistake US did invading Iraq. Lot of Muslims r gonna be butchered and other mullas won't sit and watch, there will always be revege taken as long a bad blood exists. Something worse than Hamas can take shape when there is a power vacuum. Regardless who wins this war it is difficult to fight against anger, for a man will buy revenge with his soul.

Palestinians should not harbour anger against Israel even if the latter want to destroy and kill them all. They should face death bravely. If Jews established their rule after killing Muslims they'd be ushering in a new Israel.
