I'm not preaching morality here.
In this conflict there is no moral side.
Abrahamics are killing each other literally because their books say some things.
I didn't call israel names for taking out hamas and the human shields.
If I were in israels place I'd do the same not worrying about the collateral damage since we have evidence of general palestnians being absolute bigots and jihadis.
Infact I'd have left the roof knocking strategy long ago.
My only issue is with celebrating death and making fun of injured toddlers.
I want the forum members to use their head and think about the consequences of their words.
I understand your point that the average person will give in to easy emotions and it's better to get things done that way, but as a democracy such thinking will prevail qnd affect our national policy with no "enlightened authoritarian" to hold knee jerking, collosal mistakes from taking place.
We at any cost cannot encourage an environment where pointless deaths are celebrated and primitive tribalism prevail and pay no heed to long term strategy.
We'll be just like the jihadis then.
The perils of such a development will be catastrophic for us.
We will be acting like brainless zombies, easy to get trapped and with no control over the narrative.
This is not stopping ! the values which you are talking have been left long back.
You can see Indian history just to study the trend. Women and children were used as pawns since edges .
It may be not correct analogy , but Ramayana had happened due to this reason and Mahabharata too for same reason. To elaborate my point , i would like to bring you to the events associated with both woman in this epic . Even though Sita was abducted by Ravana , but for whatso ever reason , he didn't touched her but Panchali was paraded in sabha. See the difference in culture.
So with the time it have changed now and has become more brutal. Nobody can reverse this trend.
I am afraid , we too will become barbarian to finish the evil ?
