Nah, Israel is aware of what awaits them when they enter Gaza.

They have already blocked fuel, food, electrify and water to Gaza. Weakened Hamas to the point where they wont have basic supplies to survive.

Telling civilians to leave Gaza - so they can have a free range at shooting/bombing everything that moves.

Ground troops will be supported by Air Force.

Beyond that, Uncle Sam has brought his carrier for support in case Lebanon get involved.

What I fear though is - the high civilian casualty in Gaza if Israel were to take this route, no way around it.

I mean if they planned such a meticulous operation for over a year they must have stockpiled essential items in those rat tunnels. And honestly, civilian = Hamas. There is no difference. It's going to be bloody and I believe once the ground troops enter, it's going to be bloody bloody street battle with Hamas waiting prepared for them. I really don't like the idea of fighting a enemy who knows you will invade and had a year to prepare and game the entire thing.

Isreal is sleepwalking into Isntreal imho.
