Israel is sleepwalking into something they will not be able to get out of easily. It will be a genocide once they enter GStrip. Forget international opinion going against them, the casualties on both sides will be so high that the nation itself will teeter on the verge of collapse. Beyond that, Uncle Sam has brought his carrier for support in case Lebanon get involved.

What I fear though is - the high civilian casualty in Gaza if Israel were to take this route, no way around it.
