If you have to know then know this, the so called innocent civilians chose Hamas over Fatah in Gaza. These civilians provide the manpower to Hamas and Islamic jihad. These civilians are the currency that Hamas used to get funding from the kafirs they one day wants to eradicate. These very civilians send their children to get radicalised who in turn grow up to be a killer.

So there is no sympathy for those civilians as they are as much part of the terrorist organisation as a gun wielding foot soldier. The civilians themselves kept mum and chose their leaders in bloodthirsty madmen who used their schools and hospitals for shelter as well as storage of weapon caches. They kept mum when the terrorists used their apartment's back yard as launching pad for their rockets. And then they celebrated when those terrorists struck true. So yeah, if they share the joy, they gotta share the pain when the cpst of being the human shield comes due.
