When I was a grad student many of these Sooth asian and Indian student orgs at my college were led by Bengalis. I'd keep seeing names like Roychowdhury, Mukherjee etc in leadership posts. Always surprised me. I remember at one event(back in 2019), there were asking us to condemn CAA.

Not saying all Bengalis are like this, but they are definitely overrepresented in this kind of stuff..

Our deep state is "Our Babus" and I'm not sarcastic. By saying that I know that the vast majority of DFI will disagree with me, but I sincerely think it. Those guys are patient, they do long term analysis and dont care of the consequences in the short term. I'm talking indian civil service at the national level (not our local corrupt babus). Please dont come after me
