Nothing wrong with it. Every single stable nation-state today is a product of genocide and forced cultural assimilation. Stability is not possible without some kind of homogeneity. The Cheenks realized this 2000 years ago and are continuing that process. Same for Europeans and Americans, these countries are peaceful today because there is no one who is substantially different(culturally) that is left to eliminate. The process of assimilation was fully completed in Europe and Americas by the late 19th century.
