What I am asking is that, whether India could quickly mobilize/declare war etc. with the speed Israel has?

We can deploy even faster than Israel. Israel have to summon reserves who are at home or holidays and then join local headquarters. For Indian, forces almost ready 24*7 at bases and start moving just on shout.

After 26/11, India mobilised forces within 24 hrs. Now situation is much better. Response in Galway was even more swift.

Do the Iranians have the capability to enforce a blockade ?

They got half their navy destroyed by the US last time they screwed around but again that was in the late '80s IIRC so things may have changed but I don't see them holding ground for very long.

India is big country with enough safeguarding mechanism
Lets assume that this happened in India ,what do you think India will do ..
1 . Activate cold start
2. Start pounding LOC and Border till the enemy is tired and exhausted
3. Strike at its place of choosing and make the enemy pay so dearly that it would never think of such attitude
4. If it comes to nukes , then yes we will be severely hit but our enemy will be history for ever and we would have gained new land

So yeah ..I would love to see if enemy try this ..infact pray that enemy try this ..
But it push comes to shove are you ready to sacrifice your and your family life so that enemy can be neutralized ??
