Yes, my closest friends are sikhs but they simply do not raise their kids even with basic sense of sikhism anymore...not symbolic things like pagdi or even kada but they don't even go to gurduwara or send them anymore....his complaint was that there is just too much politics and infighting over accepted gurus vs new babas
