That is the truth. Look at any English news paper coming out of Pakistan, many authors of articles themselves declare that they are begging nation going around the world with a begging bowl.

The main difference between Pakistan and India with regards to the Aid/Loan received from IMF/World Bank/ADB has been that India has been one of the biggest success stories for these institutions with a perfect track record of loan repayment. In the case of Pakistan these agencies have had to rush in loans to Pakistan to help them avoid defaulting on their loan repayments.

In fact India recently bought 200 TOns of Gold from IMF/World Bank reserves as they needed the cash to increase their aid to LDCs in Africa and Asia.

I just plain avoided this thread since it started as the title is one dead horse that has been flogged a million times. Not explicitly under the title as this thread but in many other discussion. This topic is nothing but an insult to injury to those Pakistan which Indians obviously enjoy, but then again there is a limit to which we can keep saying the same thing again and again and it becomes boring.

When i first saw this thread i thought well another troll thread and lock it. But then thought otherwise. Come on guys we have much better things to do and discuss than just Pakistan alone and how they go about destroying themselves.

Indian government fought to get itself de-hyphenated from Pakistan. But in the forum world, Indians are yet to do so as they thrive on any Pakistan news. We need to talk about bigger things than the losers next door.

Very soon Pakistan is going to become liability to both USA and China. China may sell them weapons but there will not be any free gifts or loans . Chinese are shrewd businessman. They will not waste even a single penny if they can save it. Once USA is Out of Afganistan their aid will also stop . So right now Pakistan is trying to milk out maximum from both China and America . USA is giving them money and they are using it to buy weapons from China.

US was aiding Pakistan, many decades before they finally set foot in Afghanistan. This will continue.

I don't remember pak returned load money or even interest . They always negotiate to waive off loan amount in lieu of finding osama and war on terror. That's the reason, they hide osama in there home ,use him as pay cheque

I think pak land is a beggar state. Since there inception in 1947, they did not made or developed any industry to make them self sufficient . They made and maintain there so called one good institution that is army by blackmailing USA and Arab league's money in the name of there strategic location and then war on terror. Yes it's true, but only with Aid money. There were no industry to support pak economy in 60's and 70's . During that time pak were importing every thing from needle to airplane thanks to there open economy. Yes there were patriotic and idiototic people live in pak land in that time. now beggers lives there from top to bottom

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif said here on Monday that Pakistan was heading towards doom; no one including the army or elite is above the state, Geo News reported.

"Before any one else suspends our aid we should ourselves decide to take anymore of it," he asserted while talking to media after visiting Mazar-e-Quaid.

He said the aim of building Pakistan was not to trade its sovereignty and honor.

The incumbent government, Nawaz Sharif maintained, was incapable of overcoming serious problems like poverty, unemployment and energy crisis.

To a question, he said the passport of Raymond Davis was still lying with the Punjab Government and that the ISI Chief Lt Gen Shuja Pasha had already told the joint session of the parliament that the twin killer of Pakistani nationals had been released on the orders of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani.

Earlier, in his brief talk to media men at Karachi airport upon his arrival from Lahore, the PML-N Chief said he had come to the metropolis after a very long time and that he was glad to be here.

Later, Nawaz Sharif reached his hotel where his party workers turned up in a large number which prompted a bit of a disorder, leading to the breaking of the hotel's glass door.

Chairing a meeting of the workers, Nawaz Sharif said right from the first day of the present government he had been standing by for protecting democracy and country, but not anymore.

"Now the Constitution and the institution upholding its rule would have to come forward to play their role," he stressed.

That is the doctrine of America, namely divide and conquer in the name of "National Interest".
