It is forbidden in Islam to worship any symbol.
Kaba may not be an idol but it is still a symbol and Muslim do worship it. So maybe radical Sunni want to get rid of it.

No, Kaaba is a place, not a symbol. People don't worship Kaaba but worship in Kaaba. Kaaba is the grandest mosque of Islam. Mosques are not prohibited

No, Kaaba had pedestal to keep idols but Muhammad destroyed all idols. Whatever remains is just a marker or design, not idol

Very less still. Trump's own base is dead against a profligate war.
As for drone shooting USA can very well shoot down anything of choice to avenge it.

Afaik Kabba had a collection of many gods and goddesses that the different Arab tribes used to worship before Islam. Before Islam, the Arab region had many gods like Hindus did.

There is already freedom of navigation in Gulf straits. Indian navy was dispatched to protect Indian merchant fleet only, not for freedom of navigation. India could be sending fleet as a deterrent to USA activity too. It is wrong to assume Indian navy na supporting USA against Iran. Indian interests is to ensure Iran situation is maintained stable.
