Looks like they will go to sea trials without MFSTAR, cannot explain the omission, can’t be made fully operational without it, seems like IN has little priority in this ship

Mentions the following-

The 60% mentioned here is likely to be the actual indigenous content (*designed and developed* in India) excluding the licence production of several components under ToT.

A press release last year mentioned "more than 76%" which is likely to include the subsystems produced under licence (https://pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1743815)

Another article mentions the money that went back into the economy (spent within India), at 80-85% of the project cost (also includes labour & services cost). Which is ₹18,400-19,550cr

Very nice pic...but speaking of vikramaditya that thing has been sitting pier side in karwar for over an year ...that means our pilots got 0 sorties on carrier for the past year.

This is one thing for which I am rooting for the US!
F/A-18 is probably the best carrier born aircraft currently (F-35 are not for us).
Though I love Mig-29K too. Rafale-M are only used by French so can't day much about it.
If we somehow manage to get F/A-18 SH then how will we manage both Mig-29K and SH together?
