Ambani is bankrupt. DRAL will most likely be sold to some other co or maybe HAL or gov will buy a stake in it?!
Either way keeping Reliance in the deal was a mistake

Dry price of the Rafale (i France, including VAT) : in the 100€ million.
Remove the VAT (because no VAT for export) : 80€million.
It is said that producting in India (not in HAL...) will be 15 to 20% cheaper : 65€ million nearly.
36 x 65€ million = 2.34€ Md

No need to add some more money for indian customisation (already paid) nor air base accomodation (2 air base is largely enough for 72 birds. Even for 90...).

Maybe some more money for support.

I don't know what is the cost of Panther helo. But there is some margin between 2.8€$ Md and 5€ Md for Tanker, Helo, some weapons.... so the figure seems ambitious but not so.
