Ya'll Nibbiars The India's highest cable stayed road bridge is being constructed in Maharashtra. This 182 Meters high bridge is being constructed by infrastructure major Afcons in the Mumbai Pune Expressway Missing Link project. At present, the length of the existing Mumbai Pune Expressway from Khopoli exit to Sinhgad Institute is around 19 kms. The Missing Link Project will bypass the Khandala Ghat section and will reduce the distance of the expressway by over six kilometres reducing travel time by more than 25 minutes.

are those plants fake!?

Any idea why Sri city has left that huge forest in the middle of it? It doesnt even look like a proper forest, just some kind of plantation. Could have opened up more land area with ready infra
sri city has lot of space available with ready infra and Free Trade and Warehousing Zone so no need to get rid of forest. one of their goal is to maintain it has green SEZ and get power from renewable sources in future.

visited the place it is geo strategically well placed and probably best maintained SEZ at the moment, Not long ago it was one of the poorest places in country.
Now Sri City is home to over 200 companies from 28 countries including multinationals like Kellogg’s, Isuzu, Pepsi, Panasonic, Daikin, Alstom, Foxconn etc.

best part is it provides lot of jobs to women.

Ya'll Nibbiars The Kolhapur Airport recently completed various development works including extension of the runway, construction of a new apron and an isolated aircraft parking stand. The previous 1370 Meters length has been extended to 2400 Meters.

Basically a MAGLEV train in a vacuum tube for low air friction and resistance. Not economical viable at all.
Look at youtube for more information.
A vacuum tube is not practical for all the human foibles. If something happens in a vacuum tube and passengers need to evacuate, they would suffocate to death or burst due to no pressure and then it takes a long time for the system to return to a vacuum state. And it takes too much energy to return to a vacuum state. A vacuum tube is only workable for cargo, not for humans or live animals.

Not surprised. Nor it will change in future as authorities are going to put cap on height of buildings in India due to proximity to airports being built all over. So average height of skyscraper is going to decline only.
Nopes. This happens because of FSI cap and very little to do with airport authority restrictions. FSI caps were instituted in the 90s so there would not be enough housing in the cities and would discourage people to migrate to the cities. This is why slums proliferated in Mumbai. The stupid congis did not understand that cities are the engines of growth and did not liberalize FSI. Only Hyderabad city has an unlimited FSI in India and this is why quality real estate is affordable there. All the cities in the ranking above have FSIs around 10-15. Mumbai has an FSI of 3-5. This keeps the real estate costs high as enough floors cannot be built to accommodate migrants. It also leads to inefficient use of land as the sprawl increases due to low FSI and chokes out all the green spaces. Congis and their stooges have this weird thing of adopting policies that don’t work.
I hope the bjp can gain control of Mumbai’s BMC and increase FSI to 15 like in Shanghai. Hyderabad’s effective FSI is between 9 and 13 now. And the city looks great with green zones and water bodies properly developed. Lots of land for parks and there are zero slums. Hyderabad is the only city in India that has got its urban land use correct. And this is why real estate in Hyd city is growing at a phenomental pace and everyone is moving there or investing there.
