It's unnecessary IMO. There are plenty of countries that have for decades been building relatively straight roads that are aesthetically pleasing and safe. Developed countries just incorporate gentle curves every few kilometers on their motorways to prevent drivers from dozing off. India just needs to learn from their experiences. There's no need to reinvent the wheel. Bendy roads increase fuel consumption, pollution and accidents.
