apparently the building is called ministry of external affairs jawaharlal nehru bhawan opened in 2018.
by the time central vista construction comes to this plot, it will take another 5-6 years.

This is a Model development project i think. This template will be used for all dilapidated office and residential buildings in Delhi area. Hope they launch 5 such projects in one go in next batch.

Delhi needs a little bit of HighRise culture. Not much Ofcourse bcoz of security reasons but still 20-25 floors should be allowed. It should start a Mumbai style redevelopment model for Basti /Slum areas.

Why this bridge has soo many piers?!! Should have done cable stayed bridge at least in some sections. Will not so many piers block water navigation!

Ya'll Nibbiars has two cable bridges sections. And it's not a simple design. You are forgetting it's length. And also the land and drigging is challenging due to the soil. And Rock base. And it's a sea bridge not a land bridge.

Niwali Ratnagiri JSW Jaigad Port Highway also needs to be 4 lane. This will offer great port connectivity between Konkan and Vidarbha.

According to New Delhi-based CEEW, closing down old plants, which consume more coal than new ones, can help reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, clean up air and reduce soil & water pollution.

Also i think time has come to block Imported coal fully. Convince coal producing states to reduce royalty substantially so that Imported coal becomes redundant.

One Thing which i want Govt. to pursue is CTL (Coal to liquid tech). India has enough coal to fully substitute crude oil imports. Yes it is CO2 intensive but we can handle that later. Crude Oil demand will reduce only after 2030 (God Knows) , and requirement of Petrochemicals will remain for foreseeable future. CTL plants with 20 to 25 life can do wonders to reduce dependence on Middle East Sheiks.

RISHIKESH - KARANPRAYAG RAILWAY Line. Unlike USBRL,this one is being constructed at brisk pace and without much brouhaha.Its tough keeping up with this project Pkg2 (18 to 33kms- L&T): Tunnel No 02 (6460m).

Appreciate your response, i have to look up coal to liquid tech now. I agree we are not using our domestic coal to its full potential. Maybe current crisis is an opportunity in disguise like the pandemic was.

Ya'll Nibbiars this project is going on the slow pace and aready delayed by many years. Sad to see that USBRL is going so slow. It either time to change the contractor or review the projects.
