Walking through the world’s longest glass bridge in China might seem like a distant dream in a pandemic world but here’s a recourse to get a thrill seeker’s heart racing. A glass bridge at Rajgir in Bihar amidst five hills is almost ready to welcome tourists all over the world. This is the first glass bridge being built in Bihar to increase the footfall of domestic and overseas visitors in the state.
The glass bridge built-in line with China’s Hangzhou province glass bridge will be 85 feet in length and 6 feet in width and can accommodate 40 visitors at a time. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently visited the spot for inspection. Come New Year and the tourists can set foot on the glass and steel structure.

All mega infra projects seem to happening in the north, modiji south ko bhool gaye kya?

other than Polavaram in andhra and mission Bhagirathi in Telangana, I am not aware of any mega projects in south.

other than Polavaram in andhra and mission Bhagirathi in Telangana, I am not aware of any mega projects in south.

Bcz South India is already developed and rich according to some chamchas.

Southern states are busy with giving freebies to keep the citizens happy. B'glore to chennai expressway is approved and few others are there.

South India is a mess full of jihadis, communists and missionaries govt doesn't want to trap their money by investing there. We already know how difficult is to develop any thing there.

freebies logic does not apply, because most of the mega projects were seeing in the north are central funded projects.

Because regional parties will do drama in order to extract some concessions from gormint.
You can see the state of Bullet Train project Maharashtra section.
Besides South is mostly self sustaining at this point of time because muh ports.
Industry will anyhow flock to south because of ports + skilled labor, Infrastructure development will happen organically, state government led.

North needs some "X factor" to obtain investment over south and west.
Like good infrastructure

Ya'll Nibbiars Oh we are getting the Konkan mahamarg, Samurdhi mahamarg, Maratha Wada Mahamarg, Sirdhi Mahamarg. Maharshtras expressway list is longer than Up and Bihar combined sad for Andhra Pardesh. We already drive at 110 KM plus on the Mumbai Pune Mahamarg.

The Bullet train project is partially funded by maharshtras and we need more benifits and concession from its thats why and forget its. Mumbai Ahmedabad HSR is a history. The future is Mumbai Hyderabad HSR, Mumbai Kochi HSR, Mumbai Nagpur HSR, Mumbai Bangalore HSR, Delhi Amritsar HSR, Kolkata Delhi HSR, Bangalore Chennai HSR, Chennai Kolkata HSR.
The south is getting the first rivers linking. Get your North South Divides.

India is a little unique in the sense that unlike US and China, highest population density is in the interior and not along the coastline. In this day and age global trade happens via sea because its super cheap

Mega projects like Dedicated Freight Corridors are to reduce the cost of logistics for landlocked areas. Densely populated Northern states don't have access to coastline hence cost of logistics is very high.

Once these projects are done then it'll further increase demand in ports located in Western and Southern India. Win win.

A good no of Infra projects are first requested by states to center. Center reviews and then give the approval based on funding model and feasibility to be used.
U. P has been sending max no of projects for approval to center.
