I guess, costs were significantly lower than normal metro, that's why they went for this.

Babus should try to learn from China on how to standardize metro coaches and civil infrastructure to reduce costs:

No no, using trainsets from different companies don't impact standardization. It's the specifications of those trains that matter.

For e.g., red, blue and yellow, lines are broad gauge but others are standard gauge. Same issue in Kolkata Metro. Delhi Metro uses 25 kV OHE while Kolkata Metro uses 750 DC third rail. These issues need to be standardized for the upcoming metros.

An SPV owned equally by SG and CG is the solution.

Cant the Center just release a Specification Sheet saying these are Standard requirements which are supposed to be met by all the organisations?
