My Mumbai journey so far
Cons: Most of the parts are very very dirty, infrastructure struggling, slums are a very very big problem, infra projects have made traffic worse in short term. Roads are in bad shape due to infra and real estate construction.

Pros: New metro trains are awesome, reminiscent of Noida metro system with PSDs and station designs. South Bombay has become better, very clean and beatiful, sea link is awesome. Coastal road project and new metro lines being built even during night times. Entire city undergoing construction.

Slums need a solution, Mumbai is way too crowded and congested and slum clearance is the need of the hour.

Yup, South Bombay and North Bombay are world's apart. Also railway stations and its surroundings are extremely dirty and filthy.

Forgot to mention that, stench is venomous .

Same here, went to Mumbai in January and stayed in Crawford hotel near Crawford market for a few days. While returning home through airport happened to pass through Dharavi. The place looked very dirty and had a very bizarre stench. Felt like a mixture of faeces and kerosene. Meanwhile the entirety of city was in some way was in some form of construction even immediatly near my hotel.

I am not familiar with the geography of Mumbai on a local level. Can you indicate which part of Mumbai is South Mumbai and which is North Mumbai? How come North Mumbai is vastly different from South Mumbai? What are the demographic details of these two regions?

It already reaches Jammu, it won't be difficult to extend it to Kashmir.
