Lmao. As I said before, the world will be in for a huge surprise at how much of a bigger shithole than they conceived most Indian cities are, as more and more districts and city have street view access. So far, other than Kangladesh, I have yet to see cities this filthy on street view. Cambodia is quite rough, but generally cleaner than our cities (but their bad roads/slums are just as bad) and the images are from a decade back. Who knows the state now.

Indonesia is quite interesting. Inner gullys can be quite poor and filthy but generally in most towns, the main roads pretty good

Kenya looks like a very typical Indian city. Non existent rubbish collection and chaos and broken roads everywhere. Same for Nigeria and Ghana.

Other than kanglus who somehow look even worse, other African tier countries generally look the same as most of our towns and cities. India's urban infrastructure deficit is easily in the trillions and this government has done absolutely nothing to fix it. Modi has given up on his swachh bharat jumla. Most cities and towns here in Karnataka somehow look filthier than a decade back, even though people have grown a lot richer
You said it yourself. People are growing richer but the living conditions are bad. This is clearly because urban bodies are badly run and corrupt as hell. Not enough urban income is generated to proper run cities. Cities should be collecting good amounts of taxes and other revenues so they can have good credit rating to list their municipal bonds and raise cheap, long term debt to finance municipal infrastructure. This is what all modern cities do including Chinese cities. But modi has been a total retard in this area. the Urban development ministry is a totally useless ministry. They could not even get more than 5 cities to list municipal bonds in the debt market.
The US helped to list Vadodara’ s municipal bonds recently. Lol 😂 that we don’t even have the expertise to list and trade in municipal bonds. This is why Nirmala madam does not have much respect as an FM.
‘Here is a sad example. Mumbai’s urban budget is $10 billion. Shanghai’s urban budget is $90 billion. The gap is immense. So do t expect our cities to be consistently developed everywhere. On,y a few areas here and there would become developed. It is a total system failure and Modiji has done NOTHING about it. Sad.

WTF? The B1M video I watched is about COMMERCIAL skyscrapers and not residential ones. Mumbai has very few commercial skyscrapers. Overall super tall commercial skyscrapers in India is pretty less. This is true. Don’t know what the crying is all about.

Don't worry @Haldilal will bring fictional commercial skyscrapers 'under construction' to puncture the phake newj. Indian cities lack decent skylines because vertical growth was never promoted, now we have glass cubes everywhere.

Edit: Have a look at this

Jakarta has roughly 75 million square feet of office space, DLF alone has close to 50 million square feet office space in Gurugram not even talking of other offices by other companies.

Who'll look richer to you? One with dense vertical growth or one with glass cubes badly planned scattered here and there?

Optics do matter, but I've been trolled by some members regarding this issue so I won't discuss it further.

Good point. We don’t have CBD concepts. Only Gurgaon and Hyderabad have business districts concept. BKC has no commercial skyscrapers despite being a CBD. Same goes for CBD Belapur. All other cities done even have a CBD. Gift city is an IFSC center and not really a CBD.

Worst offender, Delhi.
No proper CBD for our National Capital due to never ending socialism because of immigrants from bimaru states who re-elect sociojeets every elections for freebies.

We have Connaught Place, Netaji Subhash Place and Nehru Place in the name of 'CBDs'.
Delhi effectively feels like a consumption based economy than production based one, we still don't have visionary leaders to think of it.

Ya'll Nibbiars this not about commercial and overall. The B1M intentionally made false values and deliberate reduced the numbers of skyscraper completed by almost half.

Ya'll Nibbiars That list is maintained by me and I am cleary talking about underconstructions. And there are 15 commercial building completed in Mumbai see the Mumbai list not outdated India list.
Yes sure but all the under construction towers in Mumbai are residential based on your own references. This only proves that there is no demand for commercial, office towers in MumbaI. And per your list , Supernova Spira is on hold but even that is a mixed use tower and not a commercial tower.

And now because of the pollution industries are not encouraged in Delhi NCR region

I think we are entering a cycle of incompetence.
In the future there will be some small and medium sized residential societies that will look well and the roads will be in the same state as today, lackluster as a result of corruption and incompetence.
I already see it in a few areas in kolkata society is amazing but road infra outside is absolute shit. This is due to whichever srakari daftar wala handling the planning.
Mumbai and a few pockets of other city are on their way to improvement but if a nation of 1.4 billion can only have a handful of livable city than this is something shameful.
And no If you are saying earning more money will solve this issue than no that is not the sole cause. Otherwise our top tier cities won't have looked like shit.
Unless evey last corner of this nation has decent infrastructure we can't really claim to be anything but failure.
It is policy paralysis and lethargy.

Ya'll Nibbiars And all of this fuss for a B1m video. Those whiteoids are biased to the core. They will always find a way to defame the non whites. And Just check and see what Indian scholars they interview. And Not just left libbi mullas sympathesizers but total anti-hindus. 😉
Ya'll Nibbiars so I brought in the Name of FalconSlayers Nibba Fictious Skyscaper in Maps with black magic. And made everyone fool by making false stamenets.

Aab aap hei Insaf kar do haldi ka yeh Aarop hai ki I am lying and making Commercial skyscrapers out of thin air.
