Btw this is where something like blockchain can be extremely handy. You sell tickets on the blockchain and for however long the train duration is you can stay in the car. If you leave the car, you cannot get back on (there should be a scanning type of thing). You can impose fines on people using this method as well by asking to see their tickets and they will probably not have one. I think shooting people for taking advantage of a bad situation is a little extreme, especially when most of these people are probably H

There is a general compartment for people. And pay equivalent to a flight ticket for AC. And No Value for the money person is spending and only the poor are visible and they want everything for free.

The Diwali crowd is not an excuse to let this happen. People take first AC tickets not just yo sit in AC. They take it for comfortable journey privacy and security. Having a crowd like this on the walkway is not only stressful but it is disturbing.

And Asking those liberandus think the complainant is intolerant, How is this different from ppl climbing into your car, bike without the permission when you are at a red signal?. The Ticketless travel and travelling in a diff class than what you paid for are both punishable offences.

The ones who have booked tickets for 7,000 ruppes are not Rome rich nibbas like you but middle class Luke rest of the folks. They have to suffer due to this. Their peace of mind is distributed, what if there are thief among them?. Some one does kabza of their confartment?. Troubles, fights?. Train stops in emergency and the freeloaders get hurt and worst dies. Let them pay the fines. And If they are so need of travllling now. Let the law take course. The problem is in name of human values we don't implement the law.

Providing food and water is a good thing.

But letting these people board a first class train for which we are paying premium for a reason is pure stupidity.

These are just cheat and immoral practices and these people need to be having penalized and jailed if they are repeat offender's.

whatever insecurities a few folks have is their prerogative, there is nothing much we can do about it.

all i am saying is there is an element of large heartedness in Indian society, some one or the other will help as a good gesture in these sort of situations. maybe the folks who are complaining were never in a situation to be at the receiving end of such graciousness, that's their loss.

And I travel bus not by train.

This is normal in festival season, and they all buy tickets but the issue is with there are not enough general compartments in long distance trains, and the waiting list is too long for people to wait.

They will move if told it is your seat and will not disturb you, don't go by Twitter posts they are hyperbole, Have personal experience of this many times or say at every festival time, this issue will take years to be addressed as the surge is quite high and there are not enough train's or even buses.

This is not really a big issue which it is made out of, usually everyone is accomodating and will not distrub each other as everyone who travels by train in festival season knows how hard is to get tickets.

I booked one of my seniors ticket by opening three fours tabs and two different accounts on irctc website in premium tatkal quota and whole thing was booked in seconds.

A normal Indian will share his half seat if need arises in long distance travels, these guys who are posting these photos looks like have travelled first time by train.
