I wonder how that bus will fare with low clearances of bridges and signs that one invariably finds on the highways and roads of India.
Ya'll Nibbiars will only on the Routes played by the previous double Deckers. The BEST has been operating Double Deckers since 1950s.

Ya'll Nibbiars BEST is back with a bang. The countrys first Double D

Ya'll Nibbiars on lease model every new indicted since 2017 has been on Wet Lease. We'll this helped to reduce the losses. But still BEST makes 300 crores losses annually despite 6,000 ruppes revenues. The transporting is a loss Making division and the Electricity is the only profitable ones.

Public Transport in form of Bus services are mostly loss making around the world.

Electric one only will reduce the losses by big amount.

This is true. Public transport has to be given subsidy always. Losses are normal when it comes to public transport globally

They rectified this by Increasing service and serviceability but unless the BEST Gets those 2,500 New Full Size Buses, the capacity crunch will happens even at non peak hours.

can normal sized buses make those deadly turns at that speed in places like maha lakshmi, dadar etc? don't think so.

Ya'll Nibbiars They used to even then and can make it even now. I sued to travel on this routes. So no problem. But the Smala and medium size busses needs to be suplementd by largers busses or else capacity crunch will happens.

The roads and footpaths are poor in true indian fashion, but that problem can be fixed if any government with a double digit iq takes over.
It has more to do with budget and less with leaders' IQ. Making western style calibrated flat wide roads with properly sized and paved sidewalks/footpaths shall cost a bomb.

The quality and quantity balance of roads in India is reasonable when regarded with India's population density, quality of coil and tar available and climatic conditions (which makes Indian environment exceptionally dusty).

Our infrastructure quality has been improvising since 2000 (we were garbage before that). Spending money on paved sidewalks is money wastage for a lower middle income country like India.

Public transports especially intra district, intra city/zone transports from metros to BRTS to bullet trains, were built to bear public burdens and boost economy rather than making profits. So they make losses everywhere in world.

Success of a public transport is not measured by it's sales profits but the number of fares it carries. Cause economic advantage to people of city compensates the loss. I cannot imagine living in Delhi without Metro. That will be a nightmare.
