You have to Build a orbital space station gradually on Earth's orbit, then propel it towards Mars
It will enter Mars' orbit, a crewed ascender of 5 and another carrying science and engineering stuff can land, set up Pressurised cabins and solar farms etc
Spend a week or two there and come back to orbit and dock with the space station in Martian orbit, which will begin its journey towards earth

The entire round trip will take 3 years, maybe a year and a half more if one idiot gets left behind.

Source: Hollywood
Nuclear Thermal rockets can take you there in 45 days , total "to and fro" trip time would be around 6 months....but yes, as you have said we have to build a spacestation like spacecraft, the same spacecraft can be used for manned moon missions as well as, if we can set up a lunar base to extract water ,then manned missions to Mars & moon would become substantially cheap

World would've landed on Mars long ago, problem is money. Even for the richest countries it is unaffordable. USA in the 1960s Spent $26 billion in Apollo programme in 13 years which translates to $260 billion in today's inflation adjusted terms. So one can imagine how expensive a Mars human landing would be. My guess would be $1 trillion (In today's money) over similar timeframe.
I am talking about moon landing

What was mega cringe was soyboys constantly crying for nasa’s help.

The movie shows how a vassal state behaves when in crisis. The VFX alone saves the farce.
yeah the Vassal state mentality
true, lot of Korean movies have that undertone of Korean soyboy x American daddy theme
another one I watched was Soar into the sun, it was Korean american bitchfest

meanwhile Indian movies:

Now there is some question as to whether India landed in the south polar region of the moon. A Chinese scientist( why is that not surprising) is saying India landed in the southern hemisphere of the moon, but not the polar region.

What are the dimensions of that polar area? Anyway, what cannot be contested, is that India landed 600 km from the actual south pole. That's closer than anyone has reached.

India landed at around 70 degrees which is fair enough.

And again, Chandrayan-1's Moon impact probe landed almost near 90 degrees. So, India anyway remains first on south pole even without Chandrayaan-3.

ndtv for unknown reasons still seems to have quite deep access to our space/def prog though drastically reduced from what was during pre 2014 period- ndtv had effectively replaced dd for reporting on govt matters.
NDTV always had access to Govt and Military arms. Do you remember they had a channel like NDTV-GoodTimes or GoodLife - a lifestyle oriented channel.
There they had shows where they would go to random military bases and taste the food. They even made program on INS Viraat.

coz NDTV employs many bureaucrats and Military brass's brats. Both Mayur and Rocky are military officers brats. That helps in getting right connection.

did isro ever claim we landed at the south pole . remember seeing news saying 'near south pole' , then later on turned it into 'at south pole'
