Dude seriously? 😐
I ain't talking about this one. I mean when can we most optimistically expect a return mission?
oh ok. misread that. Yes, there is one joint colab coming up with japan/jaxa . that involves lander and rover too. not sure when though.

Lmao, WTF is this?? Nuclear Science is Brahmanical Patriarchy 🤣🤣
It is a blessing in a way. It is good for Hinduism and other indic faiths to be associated with higher tolerance towards and even promotion of the scientific temper relative to the other faiths especially the abrahamic ones. Our countrymen who are majority of the indic faith have demonstrated this by constantly punching above our weight in the hard research and capabilities despite being a developing country with developing country issues. Imagine if it was one of those abrahamic, especially islamic countries, there would be many dissuaders against maany scientific pursuits.

We should subtly promote the meme of indic faiths being more adapted to the modern world and one of the strands of this would be presenting indic faiths as atleast non-obstructive if not development promoting.

We can do a sample return, but not by ourselves

Since Lupex is even now in Conceptual stage, if only we could do a feasibility study of sample return with Jap collaboration

@Vamsi would I be right in saying that

Chinese sample return mission was 9 tonnes Directly to lunar transfer orbit, CY3 is not even half that and we had to do gravity slingshots
Need more powerful rockets and high isp propulsion units. "Low budget" flexing IS NOT gonna work if we want to be a space force to be reckoned with. With all due respect to ISRO.

ISRO designs rockets for normal space activities like comm satellites and earth observation.. the only reason sc 200 is even a thing is because of the need for 6 tons to GTO for newer comm satellites .And NGLV is a thing because of falcon 9 and it's success.

I know. We need to expand out operational capabilities and for that we need to expand our aspirations.

Even without direct lunar transfer orbit our cap is 4 tonnes
It has recently been upgraded to 4500 kg for GTO addition of semi-cryogenic stage will boost this figure to 6,000 kg for GTO. ISRO still hasn't fully utilized LVM3's potential, lot is happening behind the scene. Here is the source:

At present, the GSLV-Mk3 can carry around four tonnes to a g ..
