Arjun Mk2??......
What is GNMBT??
Generation Next MBT. (aka FMBT)What is GNMBT??
Arjun Mk2??......
But it doesn't look like 3 men crew tank moreover drdo is having habit of copy pasting images.
FMBT ..What is GNMBT??
Arjun Mk2??......
No, i made that concept art... Placed the older FMBT's 4 man crew first on the Arjun mark 2 hull.It means it is the confirmed image of arjun mk2

Yup older fmbt turret now will be used in arjun mk2No, i made that concept art... Placed the older FMBT's 4 man crew first on the Arjun mark 2 hull.
Says who?Yup older fmbt turret now will be used in arjun mk2
There shall be many features of Armata in FMBT. It will most probably be a 2 crew tank. Compact in size. No, i made that concept art... Placed the older FMBT's 4 man crew first on the Arjun mark 2 hull.
Which our IA boys will happily throw into a comparative contest with the Armata and decide in all their wisdom to importDRDO NG Main Battle Tank concept...
Looks like a cross breed of Russian Armata and Israeli Merkava....

The new platform systems, into which work is being initiated, include the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), new-generation main battle tank (NGMBT), long-range radars, airborne warning and control system (AWACS), sonar suite, high-thrust aero engines, engines for wheeled platforms, underwater autonomous vehicles and hypersonic glide vehicles.
huhh? More like the EE-T1 Osorio concept......better had they bought this concept directly from Brazil.
Basically a tin-72 copy.Drdo chief confirmed that ngmbt will be in light catagory and it will be sensor based
And repeat the sane mistake with Arjun?! Nope. The crew can fuck themselves... They'll have to settle for accuracy and acceleration.Basically a tin-72 copy.
For fucks sake put crew safety first.

Maybe this is exclusivley for Indo-China front. There was a need for a light tank some 30 to 40 ton in this region as seen only T 72 can operate here.Basically a tin-72 copy.
For fucks sake put crew safety first.

Thats a complete fantastical assumption... No indication of such thing yet.Maybe this is exclusivley for Indo-China front. There was a need for a light tank some 30 to 40 ton in this region as seen only T 72 can operate here.
At heights there is no choice but to cut down on armour and go for accuracy and Manuverabilty.
Some 500 to 1000 tank will suffice the need of this front.
Some other heavy tank can be designed to take care of Indo Pak front.
Oh no doubt, these will end up very similarly, except if ammo is stored in turret bustle, turret will blowup to damage only itself. But a very likely hull weak-point penetration will hit whole crew immediately. And that is not the designer's problem. Their job is to meet specification laid out by the user... or rather the user's bosses. We both know how t-72s ended up in gulf war.
Paki tanks as of just as shitty, but Chinkys are plugging the gap very well. Their 3man crew tanks weigh 57tons and increasing.Just meet specifications, fuck everything else!
The unmanned turret clearly has minimal armour, maybe they'll add some Merkava like modules, a narrow strip of very thick armour (the value they can put on brochures)... Like 1000mm thick LOS.
The hull is similar too. At the green it can have 1000mm LOS thickness, the rest gets fuckall.
ROFLMAO
Just like their Rusky Daddy's T-72/90, if anyone thinks that's any different.
