Considering they have Internet nowadays, do they ever go on there and look at what other similar units around the world are doing? If you dont have plates in your "plate carrier" then whats the point? People who will justify this by saying its just for training plz stop. You train how you fight, they dont follow this simple philosophy. Scooter helmets used for para jumps, no rifle jumps etc.

Bu bu but pulling out the plates from storage, advances their expiry date. They-they expire you know. We only bring them out for actual ops haha.

man look at their setup , IDK if they are SF or not but
they have everything high power optics , good kitted out ar's , strobes , battle belts , good PCs ...

And they are not from the west and they are not exactly super rich either , they even don't have a big national threat like Pakistan or China either .

they train with western forces and have learned from them and invested upon themselves (unlike us) .

The Malaysians, Indo and Philipinos have execellent SOF capability - limitations come in power projection.
Thais as well but at the bottom. The Filipino Tier 1 unit is one of my fav SOF units - alot like GROM


Few misconceptions - the above countries are Middle Income Countries and as such multiple times richer than India. their per capita spend on the military is higher than us. India is a dirt poor country. We are a GDP per capita 2000 dollar economy - and if you remove the top 30million Indians that falls to $700 per person.

The above countries have higher basic education standards, litteracy standards which reflects in most aspects of their society.

Having smaller population sizes helps but they have enough internal strife that they took long term planning seriously.

Aligning with the Americans/West for over 30 years has obviously helped.

The reddit post shows trained special forces personnel who actually have conducted successful reconnaisance, intelligence operations and most likely raids aswell in volatile territory and are trained for specialised tasks such as CFF, UWD, Demo, field medication and marksmanship.

There is no Delta group in India bro. Not even for the sake of comparison. The best we have in army is probably 75th Rangers level. Or green berets.

It's tiring to listen to people applying same logic everywhere. If it's on field what you have told holds true to its nature.

Neither they will ever see war nor army has equipments for them

I’m saying for comparisons sake. Ofc the Indian army has no delta group, Indian republic (not Bharat but the soshialist secoolar republic of India) isn’t even hundred years old.
