That doesnt really matter all that much, both high and low ready is viable.

That was not even proper low ready,
It reminded me of this video from
slade(former devgru) discussing the vulnerability of the exact thing para sf guys are doing in the video.

Yeah well west in general is shifting to high ready and not to mention we don't practice c clamp either.

High ready/Low ready isn't some hard and fast rule, hell lot of improvisations are made in actual combat by actual operators from units that are involved in operations that demand stuff like this. Same goes for C-clamping. To understand this in indian sof context, If you ever get your hands on a tavor/ak try either of the methods, with an AK you cant even aim correctly with a proper c-clamp the thumb gets in way b/w front sight and the rear one.

exactly the problem. except for the m4s and 716s, no other rifle in Indian inventory you can c clamp with.

A tavor with non-reciprocating charging handle can be c-clamped though, the thing is....tavors(x95 included) on high ready are rather uncomfortable.

The rationale behind most units getting HCBH/Bump is that its lightweight and offers protection as well as a high field of view.

There are many dumbest decisions being made lately. Besides Garuds also acquired a few BNVD-Ps. Haven't seen any with Paras. Marcos got dual tubes and comtacs. However some G20 footages show Marcos with those USMC type bowman headsets. We are way behind.

Garuds have inducted quite a few HCBH, one of these photos are from kashmir valley based flight.

However some G20 footages show Marcos with those USMC type bowman headsets.

Those are Racal acoustics RA3185 Modular Cobra Headsets, these came with the L3 comms package that every Para unit and Marcos are getting, I'm unaware about garuds. They come with an ear-cushion aswell that makes them look like bowmann headsets
