What's the point of doing these jumps without the combat load? Just adding to the number of para jumps done to get extra stars on the chest?
Either you'll do very infrequent jumps (all with combat load) or you'll do frequent jumps (some with and some without full load).
If you do frequent jumps with full load, goodbye legs.
There's some debate about whether HALO/HAHO are actually practical because of the risk of injury or death even with proper execution of doctrine due to unforeseeable problems (like a small ditch in the middle of the field or a goat). Its definitely a good concept and in super rare cases can be a make or break factor but how many recent operations have you heard of which involved HALO/HAHO?
More often than not, a rapid deployment of a large paratrooper force through static line is the epitome of airborne action (2e Rep jump in Libya, VDV in Ukraine, the canceled jump of the French/US paratroopers in Benghazi in 2012 etc).

A lack of HAHO/HALO qualified troops isn't as critical as the unavailability of a large paratrooper force. Iykyk.

Looks like the first image of Avinash sir’s and @Nightshade1992 ’s company’s Tactical Trousers are out. Also featuring their Plate Carrier which we’ve seen before.
PC seems to be good
I think it will give nice competition to armasen tactical
Anyway away from topic
Just look at avinash sir's post
Before folks bombard the page regarding my stance, I was demonstrating the importance of a good grip and upper body orientation while firing. The lower body even if not in the perfect position the rounds will still go the right way.

He is clarifying his stance and grip even when he is just demonstrating and a veteran
Such quality of officers are dire need in our sof
That shows how much importance does he gives to such things
I find it amazing

Ok so I have a question regarding the military in general. Are vets or ex soldiers allowed inside the centres and shooting ranges after retirement ? If I'm not wrong Maj. Sahani is retired right ?

depends on your level of influence in the unit.
If you know the CO, then not only ex-soldiers but also civillians can visit the unit.
Can't say about weapon firing.

That's why HAHO/HALO with battleload is mandated to a select few personnel, every SF Battalion has a troop (24 personnel in ideal case) sized formation dedicated to freefall specialists.
