Between Abhi’s actions and the Mi17 (which by now has been logged as operator and human error of the crew) it was not the IAF’s finest hour at all but no one tried to hide that

if IAF said they shot down a F16 then they did (and there’s enough circumstantial evidence to give credence to that)

Everything else is pure speculation
You didn’t mention about the 300 terrorists we killed in terror launch pads😀

Marcos with Tan beret Para Sf With Maroon looks sensible nowadays all are Maroon even state police commandos wear maroon berets
That is because our military has forgetten what the Maroon Beret is supposed to stand for. Maroon now means commando.

Which explains why we also don't understand what a SOF capability is supposed to mean.

Para wale taking selfies 😅 without covering their faces,

a new plate carrier (seen only with soldiers deployed in body guard duties)

Indias best socialization club.

Here we see "SFs" who allegedly do surgical strikes and have been beheading enemies since '95. As we can see this is totally a force capable of doing so.

Pakistan claimed they had 2 people in custody and they were positive one more pilot had ejected in pakistan. That is the biggest proof, later they made up the story of a downed su 30 mki. We lost the propoganda war, there is no doubt about that. But pakistanis shitting their pants and returning Abhinanadan so quickly also shows how scared of war they are against us.
Pakistan was recovering from the shock of Abhinandan dogfighting a F-16 with Russian Garbage and managing to get a lock on it.

Highly doubt Pakistan fears India though.

It wasn’t just a flippant comment. The ISPR put out an official comment that a second Indian pilot and died in hospital

+ as for the lack of proof, please tell me what images have leaked of the damage done at Balakot? The Pak army took control of the entire area for a week, and then invited foreign journos to tour around once the damage had been cleared up.

There’s sat images to validate balakot.

it wouldn’t be very difficult to clean up a downed airframe that too with the amount of personnel that flooded the area post the incident.

the Pakis have covered up plenty of aircraft losses, why would this be any different?

when has india falsely claimed such things in the past? Why would they double down with the radar plots?
I just don't buy an F-16 being shot down.

There is literally ZERO evidence for it. The only thing which makes it somewhat believable is Pakistan's own lying past, and their dishonesty. However, looking objectively, I fail to see how this happened. For starters, a MiG21 is a generation behind an F-16, and while the MiGs have some upgrades, I still argue it makes them a 3.5 gen aircraft instead of a 3 they were intened to be.

How is it possible that Pakistan is able to hide such a loss for this long? There has to be SOME explanation. The aftermath of Balakot was a clear defeat for India, Balakot itself, however, was a clear victory.

The fact that that an Indian Aircraft could penetrate deep into Pakistan and bomb a terrorist camp is mind blowing of its own. Now, as per Pakistan, we released zero videos. HOWEVER, we are not entitled to release any videos to them. If we did show a video of just the bombing, they would say we faked the video (they literally claim we fake the video of our boys blowing up their bunkers lol). And showing the whole video is pointless and basically exposes the OP. plan to the world, which is pointless. So Pakistan would claim any sort of evidence is fake, like they claimed their own soldiers bodies was fake in Kargil. Hell, I have seen them online literally deny the bodies of their soliders in the Kargil war as Indian Actors.

We know Pakistan closed the area for weeks, the satelite images are dubious at best, and some even show bomb marks on the camp.

And for them SF almost always meant "security force". Haven't you seen how many times veterans mistakenly said that. In that interview with Brig Sanjay Thakur he said that when he was opting for Para, his CO refused at first telling him that he is joining some Security force or what. Also in that Sansad TV show "The Defenders", a vice admiral called IMSF as Indian Marine Security Force...*ahmm* Special Force. Garud was formed primarily as a security force for airbases. Para SF has been treated as a QRF. In our country, we give more attention to antiterrorism than counterterrorism. One is a defensive philosphy the other is a counter-offensive one. And Pakistan's bleed India by a thousand cuts works perfectly well because of this. After major attacks when you increase check on security measures etc. That is exactly what the terrorists want. And then added security forces by police antiterrorist teams. And this mindset of public appeasement. We are not serious as a nation in these kind of things. US Tier 1 SOF also perform close protection during Olympics or similar events but they keep it low pro. But no we want attention. That's why such unprofessionalism. The quality of officers in our millitary has degraded and it has been said often times by older vetrans but when someone not from the defence background says it....It's as if it's treason. We still have that mindset of the 1940s at large nothing makes any difference now. The Navy is the only professional silent force we might have. Not generalizing, just saying

So when's Army going to replace the Hi Power
View attachment 192253
Never I think . I mean a handgun is the last thing that would tickle our big brass's toes .
Plus there's no actual training structure for sidearm engagement. It's hardly even seen in use , damn hell , you won't even see officers use OFB browning 9mm

Only the parachute regiment (airborne and SF) use their pistols for training and active combat side arm . A majority of them have shifted to Px4 storm , which I view as a good thing
