fair enough that they de-conflicted without letting ego get in the way but sitting on the floor and being interrogated when you’re a national army is some weak stuff

and the state of their equipment, geez, this is beyond depressing. Forget FINSAS, these guys don’t even have the basics, almost all of them are carrying plastic coke bottles . Shame on the IA

Truth is out , everyone involved within the op knows how badly we were humiliated, and I for a matter of fact i know through the best source that no F 16 was shot down.
Of course, and they think they can beat China lmao. When China really comes, they will learn a massive lesson

I hate nearly everyone in this thread, but India really needs to stop with these bullshit cringe parades. Camels were used literallt all the way back in 1965. Look at the older parades and looked at them now. The older ones especially in the 90s were full of power
Hate is a strong word, you can disagree but hating is a different matter. In real life we will probably be friends with similar interests, you should look at it like a friend who has different opinions and you should listen or critique.

Btw those are AR - Assam Rifile (India's only paramilitary organization under IA command but managed under MHA) not the Indian army. AR personnel have always been equipped like the other CAPFs but due to IA influence they got better company-level support weapons including the ATGMs and MANPADs

In a plastic pet bottle you could carrry 1.5 litres of water and the bottle’s weight is negligent. But if you use a military water can or the thing you see in the movie its weight is comparatively heavy plus don’t think it can hold that much water.Yes there are hydration packs but iirc once a greyhound commando told me they had trialed the camel hydration pack but it was not suiting with the rucksacks and using plastic bottles were a cost effective way.

U.S forces also use plastic water bottles because they are lightweight and easy to carry, they use a camouflaged bottle pouch attached to P.C using molle webbing. Pretty common.

actually the shorts in mess thing is not a bad thing, sf should be free of all that shiny black boot bullshit. What we complain about is lack of equipment, modern training and a proper procurement policy. When i talk about uniformity, i talk about commonality in basic equipment. Just look at the URGI program, thats how we need to procure our equipment.

words of wisdom.May be to prevent over dependence of the NVDs/Thermals over naked eye and moonlight our generals are not buying enough newgen nvds
So much copium does not suit a sf thread moderator,
"You cant own what only last for a while" same can be said for daytime lol,
"You might not be only one to use nvg or thermal"
Majority of our enemies do not have night fighting capabilities (yet), and those who do can be overcome by superior training.
"What look like perfect op at night bla bla bla" ya no shit sherlock , thats why they are carried out in night where you have massive advantage.
"If you are lucky one using binos yata yata yatA"
The writer dont know much shit , you dont have to shove nv up your retina , you can still see under them , + modern nv tubes are really good at differentiating between various intensity of light,

"words of wisdom.May be to prevent over dependence of the NVDs/Thermals over naked eye and moonlight our generals are not buying enough newgen nvds"
More like word of dumb(fuck)
Acc to you our gernale babus are not buying nv because our enemy might have them as well , so instead of creating night fighting doctrine against weak enemy for future advantage ,we should wait to give them time to get a headstart in night fighting capabilities so then can come and peg us in the dark , wow !!
