Suggest reaching out to any ex SF you know. major Avinash etc ask them as well. We have plenty of restrictions in the way we bean count. Every brass is counted, every dinged / damage weapon goes into your official jacket.
In official trainex they still have a budget of ammo that is accounted for and reported post ex. (If done in India)

PS the Korean guy mentioned the Thai and the Philippines. We should all look to the east as well. Paskal, LRR, Kopassus - serious evolution of these units has taken place in the last 15-20 years.

Bump is lighter, can’t stop a projectile, mostly used for civilian applications, and is used by militaries to carry heavier melmet mounted gears like panoramic NVGs.

Every army counts brasses outside the NATO sphere. Even the eastern one, be it singapore, thailand, japan etc. The way South Korea puts restriction is something else, its a cultural thing for them along with the mixture of majority conscript army.
Have you ever heard Fishing Strollers messing with the Naval Ships when there is a Joint Exercise is going on? Have you ever heard Joint Exercise being stopped for some petty reason. Much of it is unique to them. I know we are fked up alot. But the Koreans are something else they are just to unique to be compared with anyone else in the regard.
Also us being pushed into regular combat probably helps too, if they would have been actively involved like Indonesia and Philippines maybe it would have been different for them.

Yes it does, but when a panoramic NVG itself weighs around 800+ grams, add IR strobes, ear protection and battery packs it becomes too heavy, hence you’ll need a lighter helmet to ease out the burden.
