I think the lack of rehab facilities and outdated rigid requirements are what @Nightshade1992 is referring to here, for an injury that could be treated rather than limiting an experienced person or forcing them to retire.My mistake then, was thinking he’ll talk about the issues regarding modernisation.
This is indeed concerning as it may lead to a great loss of experienced skilled personnel on whom the Army has invested a lot in as well as the personnel has invested a lot in. As obviously retaining experienced manpower is essential and training new ones are obviously going to cost more and a great loss of potential.
