Even that's right I didn't think about itWhat's the point of buying high end NVGs if we don't use laser illuminators
They are buying around 200 BiNods and 900+ monoThey must rethink it suits in their role it's indigenous and all of their counterparts are using it
What's the use of mono in today's scenarioThey are buying around 200 BiNods and 900+ mono
¯\_(ツ)_/¯What's the use of mono in today's scenario
Maybe , also used by CCTs , not sure thoLaser Range Finder is used by snipers?
If we're talking about mono in non dominant eye and using weapon mounted NV in combination with aiming sight in dominant one , then it's a game other wise it's notWhat's the use of mono in today's scenario
I don't think that nsg has NV in combination with sightIf we're talking about mono in non dominant eye and using weapon mounted NV in combination with aiming sight in dominant one , then it's a game other wise it's not
Yes used to gauge distance between you and your target.Laser Range Finder is used by snipers?
They don't that's the only big disadvantage that NSG has in night fighting capability . Giving everyone their own NVG (formerly only used by pointsman in a team) is a good thing but NVG is not good enough on its own, if it's not used in combination.I don't think that nsg has NV in combination with sight
Someone rightly said, this camo is like a Girgit, changes colour in every different condition.Airborne i guess
That was the idea behind UCP. It failed miserably. We'll see how this performs.Someone rightly said, this camo is like a Girgit, changes colour in every different condition.

Dude its not easy, the kind of equipment it is, will require a lot of new fighting doctrines and training in the Indian Army who are more Accustomed to the Bi-ocular ones.90% of the countries can't even dream of producing these, but they'll proly end up selling it anywhere but here

None so blind as those who will not see
Even jihadis infiltrating across the Line of Control into Jammu and Kashmir have been found to have better night vision devices than the lavishly funded Indian Army, says Ajai Shuklawww.rediff.com
