there is no gun called AK-56 , the stupid media calls TYPE-56 which is the chinese copy of AK-47 as AK-56, india does not use chinese weapons, it's probably AK-103 or belgian arsenal

Not just media, it's called AK 56 by almost every personnel.

Looks smaller/similar in size to the OLF Dehradun 4x telescopic sight which they’re actually marketing for the SIG 716 and OFB 7.62x51R2 rifle. Same for the Alpha Design Technologies Telescopic sight but I’m not sure of its magnification.

Yup only front line infantry require magnified optics in great numbers, the rest can do with reflex and red dot sights if they need them. Support arms needn’t require optics in great numbers but it’s better if they get some too but not for all of them.
