the comparison is not a good one. Pakistan was never going to go to war with US over abbotobad. Imagine the cost if india does something so public on paki soilHafiz Saeed is enjoying his life in Pakistan but Osama Bin Laden is dead. Tells you something about our capabilities.
There’s a school of thought that India only acts when the costs (economic of political) of not doing so outweigh those of acting.
Given the relative stability india enjoys internally there perhaps isn’t the need to go ‘kinetic’. Rather it is more beneficial long term to infiltrate and co-opt
