If you think that m4 sopmod block 1 is a modern rifle then you are pretty naรฏve.
But i do think weapons arent the thing our SF needs right now, what they need is all the other force-multipliers that that outer modern teams employ. eg. modern night vision, modern sights, modern armour, modern diving equipment, better parachutes. The list goes on and on.
Afterall weapons can always be upgraded, modernized.

What pointed bayonet bhi hai ?
Exactly hermano

The original Type 56 with the bayonet attached, probably from the 60s served in hand of Pakis, (if not the Chinis), then some Wannabe Ghazi, then finally captured by our forces and put to use
It probably has seen some weird shit in it's lifetime

The terminology does not sound correct, but still good news either way

Terminology is correct, because the two extra tubes are attacked to the bino only, thatโ€™s why Indiaโ€™s Tonbo calls pano nvg as BNVD-P or Binocular Night Vision Device-Panoramic.
