What are the 3 things Indians will never learn since the beginning of time.

1.Fight wars in your enemy's territory.

2.Dont be dharmic.. Be Ruthless.

3.Give importance to a foot soldier and his skill and not just the cavalry.
The Greeks documented ancient Indian cavalry to have used 'swift' horses as well as wild asses/onagers to draw the war chariots. The Indian wild ass is one of the fastest animals clocking 70-80kms/hr. I believe in those days horses were prized, but not obsessed upon.
But somewhere down the line, the horse became significantly bigger in size and fit to carry more weight leading to newer developments in cavalry tactics. Chariots became obsolete, this is perhaps the time when Indians became more obsessed with horses.

Indiamart is not a good place to buy equipment as essential as these, most of the time they just rebadge Chinese knock offs and claim they’re made in India . Do check out these links and see how much genuine products with proper certification and excellent retention systems cost.
Ofcourse military prices will be less than this but not by a lot.

Notice the unique British paratrooper helmet(Sorbo helmet) assigned to the Indian airborne troops(also the 152nd Indian Parachute Battalion)...resembles the modern-day Patka
