@AVINASH4061 Hello sir, I've seen many pics of you posted earlier on this thread and noticed you utilized multiple optics on your M4s. Namely both the Meprolite MOR and the Aimpoint CompM4 (in the pics I've seen).

Which in your experience would you rate as the better optic, with the better sight picture? The MOR of course has other features besides like integrated lasers - did those features play a role in your choices?
I preferred the Aimpoint for it's resolution of the red dot. The zeroing was also easier because of the windage and elevation adjustment on the sight( 1 click= x mm at z yards). However the MEPRO sight was great too. No batteries required and it had an IR pointer( no visible laser pointer). The down side was that the dot was orange in colour, it's not a great colour in the jungles and bright light. Hope I have answered to your queries.

Oh you have sir! :yo:

I always assumed the MEPRO MOR was battery-powered but thanks to what you described, I went and checked and turns out the MOR is indeed capable of self-illuminating the reticle without batteries. Apparently it only needs the batteries for lasers.

MEPRO seems to advertise the MOR as both visible + IR laser capable.

What you've said also explains why the Aimpoints are indeed so widely accepted by SFs the world over. Even the Russians are buying/smuggling them for their SFs!

Sir, have you used BEL holographic sights, if yes, how are they?
Also most of the armed forces single tube passive NVGs are made by BEL afaik, if those are the ones you have use, how are they?
I just want to know is BEL too like any other stereotypical PSU?

BEL is still a good PSU, Ordnance Factories का तो सीन ही खरब है, अलग ही लेवल पे है।

It was said IAF to use this for special purposes...but only for defense or it will be used by SF for specialised ops as well? Our own Supacat and we just can't waste it.
It’s primarily for base defence, in the official press brief it mentioned they will be used for this role by IAF QRTs and Garuds so they are not likely to belong to the Garuds but to the individual bases

Won’t be surprised if Garuds opt for the FM LSV like the PARAs as they operate them in similar ways for long range missions and require something air transportable

FM LSV is again not up to the expectations. Being sub standard is our motto amd forte. Cheers
