but not the sf am i right? they use that paintball.
Paintball is okay for the very basics when you’re trying to do force on force training but you absolutely need to have simmunition or blanks firing for realism so that you are comfortable with your own weapons system that you will employ in the real world plus you have the ability to simulate the kind of devastating effects automatic weapons can do in CQB

No Indian unit will be ready for this kind of a situation barring the NSG right now if all they are using is paintball https://youtube.com/shorts/_yLutpMTSqQ?feature=share

Contrast the SF competitions US SF does in S.America, ME or Europe to Vajra Prahar. In VP the most they work up to is some room clearing in a 2 storey kill house
I am not sure about ME and S. America part but they "realistically" train only with their major allies with whom they would be potentially involved on ground, which are NATO in Europe, South Korea and Japan, Canada and Mexican (SOFs to a certain degree) in N. America and this goes for almost all of the countries in these alliances vice versa.

Everything apart from the basics is trained with live ammo in Indian SF, irrespective of the service.

Capt Albert Louis has said it before that there are no blanks used in Para SF. I can tell you the same with certainty about the Marcos.

In the ME there is quite a bit of high level SF exercises particularly at KASOTC

in S.America they participate in and organise specialist events like sniper competitions

You can’t do force on force training with live ammo

this means they aren’t doing such training which is a HUGE deficiency.

shooting at static paper targets can only get you so far
